Friday, June 10-

Day trip to Oxford-

Justin met us at Dilke House and we travelled by private coach to Oxford at 9am. I bought some cherries from the little fruit vendor next to Goodge Station.

Arrive in Oxford for guided tour of the city, entrance to Christ Church College (of Harry Potter fame!) We also had free time to explore and have lunch. We learned about the authors of Alice in Wonderland and the Lion, The Witch, & The Wadrobe.

Sterling getting his "artsy" shot.

All things Harry Potter related: The dinning hall & stairwell used in the movies! I took picture for Chrissie but most of our group was nerding-out over HP- haha.

Ed & his Harry Potter scarf.

The town had the neatest cobble-stone work!

We had lunch in this pub where we ate fish & chips and tasted the attitude of the Green Goblin (hard cider).

J.R.R. Tolkien (The Lord of the Rings) & C.S. Lewis (The Chronicles of Narnia)

Went back home via coach bus and stopped at the french café to have coffee & eclairs.

We ended the night at The Village. Had a few drinks and danced on this tiny dance floor with all our bags. Turns out Ryan is a huge Tame Impala fan and likes much of the same sound I'm into right now. Lisa stole Sterling's fake glasses and pretended to have lost them all night- further annoying Sterling. Steven dances like a magic robot... fabulousness I must say.

We all ended up in our hoodies in the rain and had the most interesting adventures home.

Chase & Sterling met some crazies on a night bus and a sketchy but nice man named Marcus. Marcus told them not to cut through any parks or alleys- but left them and did that himself. Steven, Ed, & Ryan were belittled by some drunken council women. And Ed wasn't believed to be chinese so he took off his John Lennon glasses and said to her, "Ching chang chong". lol! Us Tufnell ladies headed back to Tuffnell Park, found our way onto the N134 and were there in no time! Then when we got home Lisa passed out on the bed sitting up in less than 5 minutes haha and I tried getting Hayley and Brandy back into their house because they were locked out. The homestay parents left the latched up the chain on the door. Around 3:30am Lynn finally awoke to let them in after soooooo much knocking!
