We actually had a real class today. We presented our selected readings, went over a timeline of British telly and radio, and watched some British telly, Faulty Castles & Little Britain. British Television works via licensing fee and has only a few channels and some don't sign on until the evening. We like our tv on 24/7 and to have as many channels as possible. There is satellite television, but as I understand it, satellite is not as prominent as terrestrial television.
After class, Lisa, Ed, Haley, Brandy and I went to Euston station to get 18-25 Rail Cards. We then ate at the station. We all went to our respective homestays after that. Then the five of us met up with Ryan, Steven and Mark at the London Eye around 21.00. That was an exciting experience. We saw London while the sun was switching off and all the building lights were switching on. We took loads of pictures.
On the way to our homestay Lisa and I got Kabobbles at a little place by the Tuffnel tube stop.
