Keep Calm and Drink more Emergen-C!
... then Carry on.
Look who I found in my bed- Sandy the ginga ninja!
After the night of the Green Goblin in Camden town- Lisa and I needed to rest up and catch up on sleep. We're both feeling under the weather- her coughing and me sneezing. It took us a while to get over to Forbidden Planet (ultimate nerd merch store) on Shaftsbury Avenue. From our Homestay-we got on the Underground and went south on the Northern Line (black) to Euston Station, changed to the Victoria Line (Blue) to Oxford Circus, and the Central Line (Red) was temporarily closed down for service maintenance so we walked down Oxford Street. We made our way to Forbidden planet but got lost in the little streets where it's harder to read the maps and their little print. Ed had to finally tracked us down in front of the Orange Building right in the middle of the shops we were looking for. They headed on out but we stayed and looked at all the Doctor Who / Harry Potter / Star Wars / Comic / Quirky things in the store! I bought a Mighty Boosh pin to stick on my red topman bag.
While still pouring rain- we found a pub serving fish and chips with ‘hot tea’ for 7.95£.
Delish- after that we got our our 'brollies' and walked back to the Tottenham Court Station (now in service) to catch the next train to get out of the rain.
Rained all day and night. We both were feeling quite under the weather and came home and napped from 6pm to 9pm. Then we made soup and drank more hot tea (for all under 25p) for dinner, blogged, and rested the remainder of the night. We were so worn out from this week. Then back asleep again at 2am til 12pm the next day and we're still worn out. We've been running a marathon through london this past week and it's starting to catch up with us. So before we hit the ground running again Tuesday morning- we're resting and doing laundry most of Monday before we go to the theatre Monday night.
